Just when !

Just when it all seems too great something usually happens and it did. Aidan came home from work on Friday and said he had been laid off. Just like that no warning in fact he had worked all day Friday had driven home and when he pulled up in the drive way he got the call. What a low life act didn't even tell him face to face yet his boss worked with him all day.

Yes Aidan was angry and disappointed and he had every right to be but I was very impressed about how he handled the whole situation. He was straight on the phone trying to get another job and stayed really calm and talked things through plus he said he did not want to go on Centrelink.

In the past Aidan being out of work was my living nightmare but not this time I too was cool, calm and collected. I have no doubt that he will be back working very soon and not spiralling out of control like he had done every other time he had lost his job.

Two days later he has lined up an interview , he has looked into some fill in jobs labouring and he sold his first car. He is doing better than o.k.

As long as the lines of communication are open and we are supporting each other, looking into the future in a positive way and caring for our health all will be just fine.
